Why We Became AAHA Accredited
Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital of Clifton Park is proud to be accredited with the American Animal Hospital Association. To earn accreditation, our hospital needed to be evaluated by AAHA experts on over 900 standards. These standards ensure that you and your pet receive the highest-quality veterinary medicine and the most compassionate, personalized care possible. Obtaining accreditation is a challenging process that most animal hospitals do not attempt. Throughout North America, only approximately 15% of all small animal practices can claim to be AAHA accredited. Thanks to the hard work of our amazing veterinary team, we can treat our patients and clients to an even higher level of care.

Meet Doctors Alan and Lisa Knott
Doctors Alan and Lisa Knott Joined Animal Care Hospital of Clifton Park in 2015. Prior to settling in New York’s Capital District, they practiced on almost every species of animal for over nine years in Northeast Ohio. It didn’t take long for pet parents to find out about doctors Alan and Lisa Knott and their amazing team of caring and compassionate individuals.
Animal Care Hospital quickly outgrew its modest home and an expansion was necessary to accommodate the growing needs of pets and pet parents in the Capital District. Doctors Alan and Lisa Knott knew they wanted to be a cornerstone of the community for years to come, and so they opened Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital of Clifton Park in 2019.
