Dr. Jennifer Robeson ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Dr. Robeson is originally from Hicksville, NY. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2000 with a BS in biochemistry and a minor in environmental studies. She attended veterinary school at Tufts University (where she received the Irma Barton Humanitarian Award) and graduated with her DVM in 2006. She practiced small animal medicine on Long Island for 12 years before moving upstate to the foothills of the Adirondacks. Dr. Robeson always wanted to be a veterinarian; she was accepted into a prestigious PhD program but applied to vet school instead, because she knew she didn’t want to do anything else for the rest of her life.
Dr. Robeson’s favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is building relationships with clients that often span many years (and many pets). She also loves that it is never boring--after more than 15 years in the field, she still sees things she’s never seen before. And she never gets tired of puppy kisses! Dr. Robeson and her husband Trevor have 2 wonderful children, Eric and Talia; 2 dogs, Miles (Beagle mix) and Tootsie (Dachshund mix); and a cat named Butters. In her spare time, Dr. Robeson loves to run, cook, read, hike, travel, and spend time with her family.
