Dr. Emma Briceland ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN, CERTIFIED VETERINARY ACUPUNCTURIST
Dr. Emma Briceland brings an energetic, personable approach to veterinary care and has a natural ability to connect with both pets and their families. She enjoys getting to know her clients, building relationships, and making each visit feel comfortable and engaging.
She has a strong interest in geriatrics, pain management, and osteoarthritis, and works closely with families to help pets stay active, comfortable, and enjoying a good quality of life as they age.
Dr. Briceland grew up in Malta, New York, and earned her degree in Animal Science from SUNY Cobleskill. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through Chi University.
She is Fear Free Certified and uses a combination of traditional medicine and acupuncture to support pets dealing with chronic pain and mobility concerns. Her focus is on helping pets feel better day to day and maintaining their comfort as their needs change.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Briceland enjoys running, fitness classes, birding, and traveling to the Caribbean. At home, she shares her life with her wife, Dr. Landgraf, and their animals, including two rescue dogs, Soca and Kasin, a horse named Star, and fish.
Dr. Briceland is known for her upbeat, outgoing personality and her ability to make people feel at ease right away. She takes the time to talk through concerns, answer questions, and create a plan that feels clear, manageable, and supportive for both pets and their families.
