Dr. Alan Knott earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University in 2006. He has always wanted to have a profession in which he could help both people and animals; veterinary medicine was a natural fit! Owning the practice allows him to take one step further to empower others to do the same. In his many roles at the hospital, Dr. Knott finds it so rewarding to help people by helping their pets — the human-animal bond is truly incredible!

Dr. Knott is married to his wife, Dr. Lisa Knott, and they have two children, as well as Brutus, a Chihuahua mix. In his spare time, Dr. Knott enjoys watching Ohio State sports, especially football, playing golf, and working in the yard and garden. He also really loves going to summer concerts, especially Dave Matthews Band.
